ASHBY ARTS FESTIVAL SONG WRITING CONTEST
A new contest forming part of the Ashby de la Zouch Arts Festival which takes place during the first 2 weeks of August. We're looking for original, unpublished songs of any genre. THE 2007 SUBCANVS UNPRODUCED SONG AWARD
Just the song: Your solo voice + one instrument. In an effort to encourage artists to quit hiding their songs behind unnecessary production, Subcanvas magazine is awarding $1,000 for the song that looks best naked--stripped down to its essence. The rules are simple: an original song with no more than your voice and one instrument. It's only $5 to enter and you can enter as many times as you want. The deadline is November 10 and the winners are announced December 10. The top 12 will be featured in the SUSA2007 compilation cd and will split the profits.

ANNUAL CLONMEL SONG CONTEST IN IRELAND

YELLOWSTONE AND TETON SONGWRITING CONTEST
We are the folks who put on the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering though we are interested in music of any genre for this contest. A contest for the best songs inspired by the greater Yellowstone and Teton area. The contest will also include an online audience award with a prize of a new Gibson Songwriter Deluxe guitar. THE NATIONAL HEALTHY MARRIAGE (NHMI) SONGWRITING CONTEST
